MCLEAN, Va., June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Gladstone Commercial Corporation (NASDAQ:GOOD) (the "Company") today announced that it plans to sell 1,100,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The Company also plans to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 165,000 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is serving as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is serving as the joint lead manager.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund pending and future property acquisitions (including the pending acquisition of a 320,597-square foot office building located in Texas), repay debt and for general corporate purposes.
