Gladstone Commercial Corporation Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option
MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gladstone Commercial Corporation (Nasdaq: GOOD) (the "Company") today announced that, in connection with its previously announced common stock offering, the underwriters of the offering exercised and closed in full their option to purchase an additional 108,750 shares of common stock from the Company at the price to the public less the underwriting discount to cover over-allotments. The Company received approximately $1.9 million in additional net proceeds from the sale of these shares after deducting the underwriting discount. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC served as the sole book-runner and lead manager for the offering. J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC served as a co-manager.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay existing indebtedness, including a portion of the outstanding balance of its new line of credit, and for general corporate purposes.
